Welcome to The Bookish Cottage! My name is Cait and I love all things, books, bullet journals, cooking, and Travel. I am a native Bostonian but moved to South Arkansas almost 15 years ago. I have worked in libraries off and on since I was 16. I also come by my love of books honestly, both my mother and grandmother were voracious readers.

I met my husband almost 16 years ago on a Disney online message forum. He asked a question (he was planning a trip for his daughter and I answered). We hit it off and the rest is history.

I have always been a planner, and it has taken me many years to find a system that truly works for me. Enter the bullet journal (Bujo), where I can track all the things. I can decorate or not as I so choose! Each week/month can look different than the one before, or stay exactly the same. I have added two more journals to my rotation, my reading journal and travel journal

My husband and I also love to cook, so you may see an appearance from Bob! I am planning on sharing some of our favorite meals, recipes and possibly some videos as I delve into YouTube. I dislike the sound of my own voice, so that may take some time.

Do you like to travel? We do, and of course our favorite place to go is Walt Disney World, as it is how we met. Over the next few years we have some fun plans in the works! I hope you will enjoy trip reports, maybe some themed books associated with that travel and travel journaling.
